Kpalime District has been crowned champions of the Ho Area Bible Quiz Competition 2026, following an impressive performance in the Grand Finale held among the three qualifying Districts: Kpalime, Nyive, and Sokode Gbogame.
The Bible Quiz Competition was an initiative of the Ho Area Head, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, and was organized in line with the Church’s Vision 2028 agenda to deepen biblical literacy, discipleship, and the practical application of God’s Word among members.
The competition commenced at the District level, where Local Assemblies tested their knowledge of scripture and church literature. Winners from the District contests progressed to the Area Sub-Zonal stage, from which District champions advanced to the Super Zonals.
At the Super Zonal stage, Kpalime District emerged victorious at the Anum Asikuma Zone, Nyive District won the Bankoe Zone, while Sokode Gbogame District secured qualification from the PIWC Ho Zone, earning their places in the Grand Finale.
Contestants were examined on the Acts of the Apostles and Colossians, the COP Vision 2028 Alignment Document, the 2026 Theme Book and Bible Study Manual, as well as the history and current affairs of The Church of Pentecost. The competition was held under the theme: “Empowered and Unleashed Through Knowledge of the Word to Transform Society.”
After four keenly contested rounds, Kpalime District accumulated 44.5 points to claim the championship title. Sokode Gbogame District placed second with 41.5 points, while Nyive District finished third with 31.5 points.
The competition successfully promoted the study of God’s Word and provided a platform for members to demonstrate their understanding of Scripture and the tenets of The Church of Pentecost. It also reinforced the Church’s commitment to raising well-grounded believers who can positively influence society through biblical knowledge and Christian values.
The Ho Area Bible Quiz Committee commended all participating Districts, patrons, coaches, and supporters for contributing to the success of the competition and congratulated Kpalime District on its remarkable achievement.
