The Obuasi Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated two tricycles valued at GH¢35,000 each to the Obonsu and Grumesa Districts to strengthen evangelism and outreach activities in rural communities.

The presentation took place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Bidieso Central, as part of efforts to address transportation challenges confronting ministers and evangelism teams serving communities that are difficult to access.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Obuasi Area Head, Prophet David Kankam Beditor, who identified the need to improve mobility in the two districts to facilitate the spread of the Gospel.

The tricycles are expected to provide a reliable means of transportation for ministers and members involved in evangelism, enabling them to reach remote communities more effectively. They will also support pastoral visits, church programmes and other activities aimed at strengthening the Church’s presence in underserved areas.

The donation reflects the Obuasi Area’s commitment to providing practical resources that empower districts to carry out their evangelistic mandate despite geographical and transportation challenges.

With the provision of the tricycles, the Obonsu and Grumesa Districts are expected to improve access to rural communities and expand their outreach efforts, ensuring that more people have the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

The intervention also underscores the Area’s commitment to advancing The Church of Pentecost’s Possessing the Nations agenda by equipping local assemblies and districts to fulfil the Great Commission, including in communities beyond urban centres.
