Mr. Samuel Thompson, a member of the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Dansoman (PIWC-Dansoman), has donated a brand-new motorbike to the Gulumpe District in the Kintampo Area of The Church of Pentecost.
The motorbike was presented to the district on April 2, 2021, by the Area Head, Apostle Gideon Obeng-Darko Debrah at the morning session of the Good Friday service at the Central Assembly.
Handing over the keys and the documents, Apostle Debrah advised the church not to use the motorbike for commercial purposes or any other non-church activity in order to prolong its lifespan.
The District Minister, Overseer Arnold Frimpong, who received the motorbike on behalf of the district, expressed profound joy and appreciation to Mr. Thompson for his kind and timely gesture. According to him, the district had planned to get one but was inhibited due to financial constraints. He assured the Area Head that the motorbike would serve its intended purpose.
The presentation was witnessed by Mrs Mabel Debrah (Wife of the Area Head), Mrs Lawrencia Frimpong (Wife of the District Minister), as well as officers and members of the district.
