The Grace Of God Will See You Through – Pastor Oduro Assures Christians

The Yennyawoso District Minister of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Charles Oduro, has advised Christians not to be perturbed during times of difficulty or trials because the Grace of God is always available to see them through.

Pastor Charles Oduro said this with members of the Airport Assembly in the Yennyawoso District on Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Speaking on the topic: “Grace,” he explained that, Grace is God’s unmerited favour through Jesus Christ. According to him, Grace is an acronym which stands for “Great Riches At Christ’s Expense.”

He further noted that whoever accepts Christ Jesus as his Lord and personal Saviour receives the grace of God because Christ is the source of all grace and truth.

“Christians are the new Israel of God because of the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, and the grace of God is our portion,” he reiterated.

Drawing lessons from the exemplary lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Pastor Oduro indicated that “the grace of God is a strong anchor which helps every believer to withstand the storms of life.”

He entreated Christians to continually desire and pray for God’s grace in all their endeavours. “Without God’s grace, it is impossible to excel and succeed in life. The grace of God brings favour, godliness, exceeding blessings, peace, prosperity, greatness and restoration,” he added.

Pastor Oduro, however, bemoaned the fact that some Christians do not know their worth and place in Christ and as a result, they move from prayer camp to prayer camp in search of prophetic breakthroughs and deliverance.

Reading from Ezra 7:1 and Titus 2:11, he charged Christians to be conscious of the grace of God upon their lives. He stated that “as the grace brings blessings, a life without the grace results in struggles. Hence, the grace of God should not be taken for granted.”

Pastor Oduro further explained that although the acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus Christ brings God’s grace, it is incumbent on believers to have a daily walk with Him. He thus admonished Christians to walk in righteousness.

“As Christians, we should not compromise when we are faced with difficult situations, because God sometimes allows His people to go through difficulties for a little while, just to prepare, strengthen and restore them back to glory,” he concluded.
