The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, has asserted that for a Christian to qualify for eternal rewards, they must exhibit faithfulness.
According to him, God has called each one to a specific task or assignment and he expects everyone to be faithful to Gd and the calling they have received.
Speaking on the topic, “Living for Eternal Rewards” at the Volta & Oti Centre of the 2025 Ministers and Wives Conference (MWC), Apostle Obuobi stated that it does not matter whether what we have given is small or big, what matters is how faithful one is with what they have been given by the Lord.
Drawing from the account of the parable of the talents, Apostle Obuobi noted that those who had rewards received them because they were faithful to what was entrusted to them.
Comparing that to ministry in the church, he noted that some ministers will be posted to the so-called big districts whiles others will be sent to places people might not consider “big”, but no one should be discouraged because of the perception that their districts are not so good, for it is God who posts according to his divine purpose, declaring that “all that you need is to serve faithfully wherever you have been posted and God will reward you.”
In his closing remarks, the General Secretary encouraged ministers to be faithful to the church as well for if they are waiting for eternal rewards, they must be willing to serve God and the church in all faithfulness.PENT NEWS.
