Everything Humanity Needs Is Found in Salvation – Apostle Asa-Otu

The Sefwi Juaboso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Shadrack Ohene Ohene Asa-Otu, has said that salvation through Jesus Christ provides the complete answer to humanity’s spiritual and earthly needs.

Speaking on the theme “The Importance of the Death of Jesus Christ,” at the second day of the “Sefwi Bekwai For Christ” crusade at the R/C School Park, he explained that the coming of Jesus to earth was a direct demonstration of God’s profound love for humanity.

Quoting the Gospel of John 4:42, Apostle Asa-Otu noted that the mission of Christ was rooted in God’s desire to rescue mankind from sin and spiritual death.

He also stressed that a person who lives on earth without surrendering to Christ is spiritually lifeless.

“If you live on earth and do not surrender to Jesus, it is like walking dead,” he said.

The Sefwi Juaboso Area Head further cautioned that nothing can be hidden from God, as He knows everything about humanity. He therefore urged believers not to be deceived by the world or by the schemes of the devil.

According to him, anyone who does not know Jesus Christ remains in spiritual darkness. Citing Gospel of John 3:23 and Epistle to the Ephesians 5:8, he explained that salvation is what brings people out of darkness into God’s marvellous light.

“The devil has no good thing to give humanity,” Apostle Asa-Otu said, adding; “Salvation is a full package. Your glory, peace, riches, and goodness are all in salvation.”

He warned that the most dreadful condition for any person is to live without Christ, stressing that life without Jesus ultimately leads to crises and burdens.

He also pointed to the Gospel of Matthew 11:28, highlighting that God grants rest to those who come to Him through salvation.

Touching on the simplicity of receiving salvation, Apostle Asa-Otu cited Epistle to the Romans 10:9–10, explaining that salvation becomes accessible when a person confesses and believes in Jesus Christ.

“What makes salvation wonderful is that it is not difficult to obtain. You simply have to declare and believe,” he said.

He concluded by encouraging all people to accept Christ, noting that anyone who comes to Jesus becomes wise and gains access to the fullness of life that God has prepared for humanity.

Apostle Dr Nyamekye Exhorts Believers To Pursue God’s Blessings Through Obedience

Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, has encouraged Christians to seek the true blessings of God by living lives of obedience, faithfulness, and integrity. He delivered the admonition during a service held at the Amoaya Zone in the Sefwi Juaboso Area on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Speaking on the topic ‘Blessings’, at the Amoaya Central Assembly of the Church, Apostle Dr Nyamekye explained that divine blessing goes far beyond material riches. According to him, God’s blessing manifests in wisdom, a good name, long life, good health, peace, and security.

‘Blessings are generational,’ he noted, emphasizing that God desires to increase His people across generations, as highlighted in Genesis 1:27–28.

He stressed that human appearance, whether tall or short, holds no bearing on one’s destiny. What matters, he said, is possessing a good name.

‘The enemy fights us because he did not create us, but God loves us and desires to bless us,’ he added.

Referencing Numbers 6:22–27, the Chairman pointed out that carrying the name of the Lord places believers under divine favour. However, he cautioned that certain lifestyles can hinder the flow of blessings.

‘Sometimes the reason blessings seem far is because of how we live. When we align ourselves with God, His blessings follow,’ he stated.

Apostle Dr Nyamekye further drew from Deuteronomy 28, reminding the congregation that obedience to God’s commandments is the key to attracting His blessings. He urged Christians not to be swayed by lustful desires but to pursue righteousness and prayerfully commit their livelihoods to God.

‘Ask God to bless your farm and everything you own,’ he encouraged, affirming that all true blessings come directly from the Lord.

The service formed part of the Chairman’s working visit to the Sefwi Juaboso Area.
