The leadership of Onyame Tsiase Worship Centre in the La Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated assorted items worth over GHS 3,400.00 to seventy-five (75) needy and vulnerable members of the church to sustain their livelihood during the lockdown period.

The President of the Republic, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, during a national address on Friday, March 27, 2020, declared a partial lockdown of Accra, Tema, and Kumasi, effective 1:00 am on Monday, March 30, 2020, for two weeks as part of measures to curb the spread of the novel COVID-19 in the country.
In view of this, the leadership of The Church of Pentecost at the Area, District and Assembly levels have been directed to provide some form of support to members of the church whose livelihoods may be affected by the lockdown.
There have also been general calls for Christians, corporate organisations and the general public to reach out to the poor and needy in the society who are the most vulnerable in such situations.
