The Offinso Koforidua District Men’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has donated plastic chairs to the SDA Clinic at Anyanasuso as part of this year’s National Men’s Ministry Week celebration.
The chairs were donated to the Clinic so as to provide comfortable seating for people who patronise the facility.
Speaking at a brief presentation ceremony, the District Minister, Pastor J. O. Boateng underscored the church’s role as a key stakeholder in community transformation.
Drawing lessons from Jeremiah 29:7, he intimated that it is the responsibility of the church to seek the wellbeing of institutions in society because this will ultimately enhance the quality of life of church members.
The Administrator of the Clinic, Mr. Courage Yevugah, thanked the Men’s ministry for their kind gesture. He pledged to partner the church in providing personnel for preventive health care through a series of health talks and health screening for members of the church.
The Anyanasuso Clinic serves the health needs of about thirteen villages in the Offinso South District of Ghana.
