Chief Executive Officer of the Prince Mark Group of Companies, Elder Prince Amoah and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Amoah, have financed and handed over church and educational facilities valued at over GH¢3.3 million in the Sefwi Bekwai Area of The Church of Pentecost.
The projects comprise a fully furnished church auditorium valued at GH¢1,889,548 for the Ankra Muano Assembly in the Pataboaso Nkwanta District and a four-unit, two-bedroom teachers’ accommodation facility valued at GH¢1,425,324.65 for Queens Girls’ Senior High School at Sefwi Anhwiaso.
The facilities were dedicated and handed over during separate ceremonies held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The Sefwi Wiawso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson, dedicated the church auditorium on behalf of the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye. He was assisted by the Sefwi Bekwai Area Head, Pastor Stephen Bonzoe, and other ministers.
The newly constructed auditorium features a children’s auditorium, a modern public-address system, musical instruments, platform drapery, tiled floors and a mechanised borehole to serve both the church and the surrounding community.
The Ankra Muano Assembly was established on October 5, 1988, under the leadership of the late Apostle S. K. Mensah. The assembly began with 25 members worshipping at the local Methodist Primary School before acquiring land for a permanent place of worship in 1999 under the leadership of the late Elder Charles Mensah.
Preaching on the theme, “Living in Anticipation of Jesus’ Second Coming: The Role of the Christian Believer,” Pastor Philip K. Acquah, the Sefwi Bekwai Area Secretary, urged Christians to live in readiness for the return of Jesus Christ.
Referencing Acts 1:7–11, he described the Second Coming of Christ as a central hope of the Christian faith and encouraged believers to pursue holiness, remain steadfast in their faith and actively participate in winning souls for Christ.
Meanwhile, Elder Amoah and his family also handed over a four-unit, two-bedroom residential facility to the management of Queens Girls’ Senior High School at Sefwi Anhwiaso.
The President of the National House of Chiefs, Omanhene of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area and founder of the school, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Akankanfo II, commended the family for supporting education and improving the welfare of teachers.
He called on other well-meaning individuals and organisations to support similar initiatives to address developmental challenges within their communities.
Speaking on behalf of her husband, Mrs. Margaret Amoah explained that the project was inspired by an appeal from the school authorities to help address the shortage of accommodation for teachers.
She stressed that national development should not be left to the government alone, urging individuals blessed with resources to contribute towards building institutions that would benefit present and future generations.
The Headmistress of Queens Girls’ SHS, Mrs. Evelyn Doris Acquah, expressed appreciation to Elder Amoah and his family, noting that the facility would improve staff accommodation, supervision of students and the overall teaching and learning environment.
Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson, on behalf of the leadership of The Church of Pentecost, commended Elder Prince Amoah and Mrs. Margaret Amoah for their generosity and commitment to both Kingdom advancement and community development.
The twin interventions, he noted, demonstrate the practical expression of Christian stewardship and the transformational impact of investing God’s blessings in both the Church and society.
