The Yendi Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, on December 8, 2018, dedicated the Bofoyili Assembly church building in the Bincheratanga District.
The Bofoyili Assembly was opened on 19th March, 2000, by Pastor Seth Acquaye, the then District Minister of Makayili District with 39 members who were won through a rally.
Speaking at the service on the topic, “Move with the Cloud and not with the Crowd” (Numbers 9:15-23), Overseer James McKeown Safo of Bunbon District charged believers to take delight in moving with God and not the crowd.
He called on believers to graduate from listening to the command of the crowd to listening and moving with the Lord, saying, “Advancement will elude those who take delight in following the crowd.”
Overseer McKeown entreated Christians to be ready to move forward with the Lord. He advised them not to follow the crowd, because one cannot follow the crowd and please the Lord.
In his remarks, Apostle Edzorhoho stated that the only way Christians can please the Lord is to move with the cloud.
The Area Head commended Overseer Simon Kwarteng, the Bincheratanga District Minister, and his officers as well as the members for the good work done.
The event was attended by the Pastorate in the Area. Also present to grace the occasion were Hon. Jacob Binidab (Assembly Member of Bofoyili Electoral Area), and Obre Dauda Alazu (Chief of Bofoyili).
