Members of Abuntunso Assembly in the Jacobu District of The Church of Pentecost were full of joy when their church building was dedicated on Friday, April 20, 2018.

The building was dedicated by the Asante Bekwai Area Head, Apostle Nicholas Appiah Missah, assisted by Pastor Roland Ayesu, the district minister.

The church in the community was started in 1993 by the then District Minister, Pastor M. S. Appiah, now Apostle and Area Head of Obuasi.

In a sermon on the theme, “Growing unto Maturity,” Pastor James McKeown Asare of Ashanti Bekwai District, urged all and sundry to advance in the Lord. “Change is inevitable, but proper growth has to be deliberate,” he said.

Present at the ceremony were Mrs. Leticia Appiah Missah (wife of the Area Head), the Pastorate in the Area, Elder Nicodemus Adatsi (the Area Deacon), among others.
