The Tamale Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, has ended the 2018 Lay Leadership Training School for all officers in the Area.

The 5-day event which began on Monday, August 13, 2018, ended on Thursday, August 16, 2018. It was held in two zones, namely Tamale and Salaga respectively.

Speaking at the launch of the programme on Monday, Apostle Kotei Djani said the word of God gives insight, direction and counselling to the children of God. Quoting from Romans 15:4, he said everything that was written in the past was written to teach believers.

He added that the word of God has been passed on to the current generation, who should likewise pass it unto the next generation.

He encouraged the leaders to study the word of God in order to successfully pass it on to the subsequent generations. This, he said, necessitated the establishment of the annual training programme for officers of the church.

Apostle Kotei Djani said the programme is to equip church leaders for service in the church. It is aimed at training leaders to be well vexed in the Bible and church practices and doctrines, he added.

He admonished the officers to take the training seriously for them to be abreast with the church’s practices.

He urged them to pass on what they have learnt to their members for them to benefit as well.
