The New Gbawe District under the Odorkor Area of The Church of Pentecost has given a generous donation to support missions work in Kuntu District in the Kintampo Area.

During a short presentation ceremony on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the General Headquarters of the church in Accra, a delegation led by the Odorkor Area Head, Apostle Isaac Tetteh Juddah, presented four bales of second hand clothes, a brand new motorbike, rechargeable speaker, and an undisclosed amount of money to the International Missions Office to be handed over to the Kunsu District.

The International Missions Director (IMD) of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe, who received the items on behalf of the Missions Board, was full of commendation to the Kunsu District and the Odorkor Area for having a good heart towards the spread of the gospel.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Kunsu District, the District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Cecelia Ankoma, expressed gratitude to the New Gbawe District for the overwhelming support to her district. She asked for God’s blessings upon the donors.

She noted that the items, especially the motorbike, will go a long way to help their evangelism drive, since there are many inaccessible communities in the district due to the poor road network.

Present at the presentation ceremony were Pastor Peter Danso Duku (New Gbawe District Minister), Pastor Abraham Addae Agyemang (Odorkor District Minister), Pastor James Owusu Kusi (Personal Assistant to the IMD), and Mrs Victoria Kumi-Woode (Senior Administrative Manager at the Office of the IMD), among others.
