The new Ashaiman Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, has met with Area Executive Committee members and other leaders in the Area.

The series of meetings were held to enable Apostle Kumi-Larbi to familiarise himself with the leaders at the various levels of the Area and also unveil the implementation strategies of the Area for the coming years.

Apostle Kumi-Larbi officially assumed his role as Ashaiman Area Head after a welcome service was held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, to formally welcome him and his family to the Area.

Afterward, the new Area Head went straight to work and organised a two-day meeting with the Area Executive Committee on September 12 and 13, 2023, to share his strategies for the Area.

He followed this with a meeting with Area pastorate and their wives on Thursday morning, September 14, and a meeting with all Area Ministry Executive Committee members, District Executive Committee members, and all Presiding Elders later in the evening to share the Area’s implementation strategies with them.

In his address at the meeting, Apostle Kumi-Larbi clarified that areas, districts, and ministries are not supposed to come up with vision statements. Instead, they are to have “Implementation Strategies” to help them implement the vision of the Church as presented by the Chairman through the Executive and the General councils.

He further revealed the theme for the implementation strategies for the Ashaiman Area as “Holistic Development of Members of God’s Household” with scriptural references from Joshua 5:1-13, Luke 2:39, Luke 40:52, Ephesians 2 and 3, and 3 John 2.

According to him, the five-year implementation strategies will focus on five key areas: Physical Growth, Intellectual Growth, Emotional Growth, Relational Growth, and Spiritual Growth.
