Let Nothing Suppress Your Praise – Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei Tells Christians

The Centre Manager of Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Apostle Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei, has urged believers to freely testify about the awesome works, healings and the goodness of God.

According to the PCC Manager, excitement without expression will lead to depression.

“Why would a leper who has been healed by Jesus Christ refuse to obey simple instruction not to tell anyone about his healing?” he quizzed.

“There are some things you can’t just keep them secret, especially when God, out of His compassion, come to intervene in your life and take your reproach away.”

Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei said this at the ‘Pool 2019’ organised by the Achimota Central English Assembly of The Church of Pentecost on August 1, 2019, at the church auditorium.

The Pool is an annual prayer and fasting festival where believers wait upon God to be clothed with power from on high and be equipped to fulfil their respective purposes.

Speaking to the theme, “Empowered to Possess,” Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei urged believers to consistently seek the face of God and His anointing in order to do exploit in their daily lives.

Taking his scripture reading from Mathew 16:17-18, Obadiah 1:17, Mark 1:35-45, he asserted that “Lepers were not allowed to mingle with the public except when Lepers’ day has been declared, yet the leper who was healed by Jesus Christ took the bold decision to come to Him even at the expense of being stoned to death.

“The Christian journey is full of risk; at times you are not sure what the outcome will be yet you have to believe and take a bold step and God will see you through. Dare to be a risk-taker and not a caretaker if you really want to see the glory of God.”

Highlighting Jesus’ prayer life, Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei indicated that “Jesus Christ performed all the great miracles because He understood the practice and the purpose of prayer. He would wake up early in the morning and spend time with God in prayers before He comes to meet the needs of men.

“Prayer has no substitute, and if you can kneel before God you can also stand up before the presence of any man.”

Apostle Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei, therefore, advised believers to have a good attitude towards prayer so as to receive the needed power to heal the sick and destroy the work of the devil.

Touching on the power in the name of Jesus Christ, the PCC Manager stated that “every sickness, problem etc. has a name and they are all subjected to the name of Jesus Christ. The name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and they are safe.”

“We need a financial breakthrough because anointing without money is annoyance. May God add wealth to our anointing so that we can get enough to push God’s agenda in possessing the nations,” he added.

He concluded by encouraging believers to be grateful at all times for the benefits God bestows on them and to fully express it withholding nothing.

Present at the gathering were the Achimota District Minister, Pastor Jonathan Kofie and his wife Regina, the Presiding Elder, Evans Sallah, and other officers.
