As part of activities marking the recently-observed National Women’s Ministry Week Celebration, the women of Krachikrom District of The Church of Pentecost made a donation in support of the Village of Life Orphanage School at Gyanekrom in the Krachi West District of the Oti Region.
The delegation of Krachikrom District Women’s Ministry Executive was led by the District Minister, Pastor Kofi Boateng, and the District Women’s Leader, Deaconess Christiana Dugbazah.
The items donated included rice, yam, cooking oil, toiletries, drinks, soaps, biscuits, and washing detergents, among others.
Presenting the items to the Headmaster of the School, Pastor Kofi Boateng said the District was hopeful that the donation would go a long way to support the orphanage in their efforts to cater for needy children in society.
“On the occasion of our National Women’s Week, we have come here to acknowledge and express our gratitude to your institution (the orphanage school) for the good work you are doing for needy children in our community,” he said.
Deaconess Duduagbah, on her part, said that “Krachikrom District Women’s Ministry is committed to serving people from all walks of life by giving back to society as often as we can. This is one sure way of strengthening our communities and possessing the nations for Christ.”
Receiving the items, the Headmaster of Village of Life Orphanage School, Mr. Augustine Gyane expressed gratitude to the Krachikrom District and recounted how the noble gesture has been a great blessing to them.
The delegation also spent some time to interact and pray for the students and staff of the school.
The 2019 National Women’s Ministry week-long celebration was observed across the globe in all branches of The Church of Pentecost under the theme, “Women, Possessing The Nations By Possessing The Home.”
