The Director of the Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Mrs Philomina Mireku, has disclosed that excellence is a journey, not a destination.

Stating ways of excelling in academics, Mrs Mireku noted four things to consider which is support, effort, goal and strategy and a reliance on God’s guidance.

According to her, by combining these principles, students can achieve academic excellence while maintaining balance and faith.

She disclosed this in a recent address at the PENSA Ghana Conference at the University of Cape Coast satellite centre on the topic, ‘Excelling In Your Academic, Professional and Career Life.’

According to her, success is not only about excelling in academic, professional, and career pursuits, but also about honouring God with one’s talents, skills, and abilities, saying, ‘As children of God, we are called to excel in every aspect of our lives.’

Mrs Mireku concluded by encouraging everyone to work hard, remain diligent, and honour God in all that they do, remembering that their character and faithfulness in small things will prepare them for greater opportunities.
