Elder Prince Amoah of Bethel Assembly in the Santase District of The Church of Pentecost has donated a brand-new Fiat pickup vehicle worth $34,000 to the Miaso District.
Elder Amoah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PrinceMark Company Limited, has also given out GH¢15,000.00 to the district to sink a mechanised borehole at the mission house.
Explaining the rationale behind the gesture, Elder Amoah said: “As part of Vision 2023, we are to possess nations by sharing what we have received from God with the world. So, I realised that Miaso District needed a vehicle for the smooth running of the district and decided to support them in my own small way by presenting this pickup and a token of money to help run the district.”
The keys and documents of the vehicle were presented to the Nkawkaw Area Head, Prophet Foster K. Aniakwaa, at a brief handing-over and dedication ceremony held on Friday, August 20, 2021. The Area Head, in turn, presented them to the Miaso District Minister, Pastor Samuel Appiah Mante.
Prophet Aniakwaa thanked Elder Prince Amoah for the kind gesture, saying: “We were not expecting this at this particular time. We are very much grateful for what you have done. God richly bless you.”
In an interview with PENTECOST NEWS, Pastor Samuel Appiah Mante was full of appreciation to Elder Prince Amoah for the timely donation made to the district.
“This pickup truck is going to benefit the entire Miaso Community. We will ensure that we use it for the purpose for which it has been brought to us so that whenever he sees it around, he would feel fulfilled that his effort has not been in vain,” he said.
Present at the ceremony were Pastor Kofi and Mrs Akosua Antwi Boasiako of Santa district in the Kwadaso Area as well as the Nkawkaw Area Deacon, Elder Daniel Kwame Agyepong.
