The Tarkwa Area Deacon of The Church of Pentecost, Elder John Arthur, and his wife, Mrs Jane Arthur, have singlehandedly constructed a magnificent edifice at a total cost of GHS 306,700.00 for the Mt. Olivet Assembly in the Abakrampa District of The Church of Pentecost.

The 800-seating with two offices, a storeroom and washrooms was dedicated on Sunday, September 13, 2020, by the Cape Coast Area Head and Executive Council Member of the church, Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi.

Speaking on the theme: “Building According to the Master’s Plan,” at the dedication ceremony, Pastor Emmanuel Ghartey of Nyankomasi Ahenkro District admonished Christians to allow themselves to be used by God in building His church.

In building according to the Master’s plan, he noted, believers ought to proclaim Jesus Christ to all people and win them for the Lord. He also called on Christians to ensure that their worship life is Christ-centered and Holy Spirit-filled.

In his remarks, Apostle S. Y. Antwi commended Elder and Mrs Arthur for availing themselves to be used by God to put up such a magnificent edifice for the church. He took the opportunity to admonish political leaders to learn from the churches example and ensure prudent use of state funds and to avoid wastage. He also called on church members to continue to observe all the COVID-19 protocols as outlined by the government and the church.

In attendance were Pastor Thompson Anane (Abakrampa District Minister), Mrs Margaret Serwaa Antwi (Wife of Cape Coast Area Head), Mrs Juliana Appiah-Aidoo (Wife of the Tarkwa Area Head), the Cape Coast Area pastorate, some pastors and members from Tarkwa Area,
