The Suame Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Monica Osei Poku, has donated 19 rechargeable speakers, worth GHS 47,500.00 to support the activities of the Women’s Ministry in the Area.
She donated the items during a joint prayer session for Ministers’ Wives, Deaconesses, Officers’ Wives and Women’s Ministry leaders held at the Kronum Central Auditorium on March 28, 2023.
According to her, the donation was made to augment the ministry’s activities in all 19 districts in the Area.
She revealed that God laid it on her heart to purchase the items for the propagation of the gospel when she assumed office as Area Leader.
Recalling a spectacular event prior to the purchase of the items, Deaconess Osei Poku said: “A few weeks ago, my shops were affected by the Kejetia Market fire outbreak. However, the money I was secretly saving for the donation was not affected.”
Receiving the speakers on behalf of the ministry, the Suame Area Head, Apostle John Obeng Kesse, expressed his profound gratitude to the Area Women’s Leader for demonstrating faith in these challenging times.
“You could have used the money to renovate your burnt stores but you have been faithful to your maker’s call,” Apostle Obeng Kesse stated.
The Area Head tasked district leaders of the Women’s Ministry to use the equipment for the propagation of the gospel to win more souls for Christ.
Present was Mrs. Eunice Owiredua Kesse, wife of the Area Head.
