Apostle Nyamekye Meets Kosovo Prime Minister

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye, has held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, H.E. Albin Kurti.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the maiden Balkan Conference organised by The Church of Pentecost, held in Pristina, Kosovo, from January 26 to 29, 2026.

The conference marked a significant milestone in the Church’s expanding missionary work across the Balkan region.

The four-day conference brought together indigenous ministers, their spouses, church leaders and selected partners for fellowship, prayer, teaching and strategic planning for the future of the Church’s work in the region. In all, 14 nations were represented, with a total of 130 participants in attendance.

During the meeting, Apostle Dr Nyamekye explained that it was important to formally meet the Prime Minister and officially brief him on the operations and impact of The Church of Pentecost in Kosovo and across the wider Balkan region. He stressed that one of the greatest needs of contemporary society is the restoration and promotion of strong moral values, noting that nations that intentionally pursue such values raise responsible citizens and build strong, stable societies.

In response, Prime Minister Albin Kurti warmly welcomed the Chairman to Kosovo and congratulated The Church of Pentecost for its growing impact and progress in the region. He observed that there can be no good politics without ethics and underscored the importance of collaboration between the state and religious bodies in promoting and sustaining moral values.

He emphasised that peaceful coexistence alone is insufficient, stating that society must move beyond mere tolerance to active cooperation. “It is not enough to tolerate one another; we must work together,” the Prime Minister remarked. He also expressed his desire to visit Ghana in the near future.

The Chairman was accompanied by the Missions Director of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe; the President of the Kosovo Evangelical Alliance, Pastor Arthur Krasniqi; Evangelist Sika Kwame of the Missions Office; and the heads of The Church of Pentecost in Kosovo and Bulgaria, Pastors Alban Krasniqi and Philip Rashev, respectively.

Child After Eight Years – A Testimony Of Faith And Intercession

The Kojobone District of The Church of Pentecost was filled with joy and thanksgiving on Friday, December 12, 2025, as Overseer Eric Adade and his wife, Mrs Hannah Serwaa Adade, dedicated their son, baby Samuel Nyametease Adade Jnr., at a special naming ceremony held at Kojobone Central. The child’s dedication marked the fulfilment of an eight-year journey of faith, prayer, and perseverance.

The ceremony attracted pastors, church leaders, family members, friends, and community representatives. It was chaired by the Kete-Krachi Area Head, Pastor Charles K Fosu, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Gifty Fosu. Ministers from other Christian denominations in Kojobone, as well as representatives from the Kojobone Chief’s Palace, were also present, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

Pastor Alex Buobu delivered the exhortation on the theme, “Biblical Parenting: A Case Study of Eunice and Timothy,” drawing from 2 Timothy 1:5 and 3:14–17. He encouraged parents to be intentional in planting sincere faith, godly values, and positive habits in their children, emphasising that effective parenting requires deliberate spiritual investment. He further noted that parents are custodians of the future of the Church and must therefore mentor their children through godly example, consistency, and love. He also stressed the need for holistic child development, urging families to nurture children spiritually, socially, intellectually, and physically through practices such as family altars, Bible reading, Sunday School participation, and good personal discipline.

At the height of the service, Mrs Hannah Serwaa Adade shared a moving testimony, recounting how she and her husband waited patiently on God for eight years for the fruit of the womb. She explained that despite several medical consultations, tests, and treatments, no solution was found. However, their faith in God remained steadfast. She testified that during the Pre-Christmas Pastors and Wives Retreat organised by the Area Head last year, they engaged in earnest prayer, after which God answered them with the gift of conception.

The testimony ignited heartfelt praise and thanksgiving among the congregation, strengthening the faith of many present. The service ended in joyful celebration as the Kojobone District rejoiced with the Adade family, giving glory to God for His faithfulness and perfect timing.

Downtown Ofaakor Area Begins Twin Mission House For Two Districts web.jpg

Downtown Ofaakor Area Begins Twin Mission House For Two Districts

The Downtown Ofaakor Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, held a foundation stone-laying ceremony on January 18, 2026, at the Downtown District Mission House premises, marking a significant milestone in the construction of a twin mission house to serve both the Downtown and Peace Town Districts.

In his welcome address, the Area Head described the project as a timely and strategic intervention, noting that the twin mission house would provide adequate accommodation for ministers serving the two growing Districts. He commended the ministers and leadership for their dedication and hard work in bringing the project to this stage.

Delivering the sermon, Pastor Daniel Nabaku, Minister of the Ebenezer Estate District, spoke on the topic “The Mission Dynamics.” Drawing from Genesis 28:18, he explained that Jacob anointed the stone with oil to mark it for recognition, stressing that mission houses are built with a divine purpose – to house God’s sent servants. He encouraged members to give the “keys of their hearts” to their ministers, just as keys are handed over to mission houses, adding that ministers are entrusted with God-given vision that must be nurtured over time. He urged the congregation to live harmoniously with their ministers to fully benefit from the purpose of the mission house.

Recounting the history of the project, the District Secretary noted that the old Downtown Mission House, after 25 years of use, had become structurally unsafe and required urgent replacement. Through prayer, consultation, and member involvement, leadership developed plans for a single storey building accommodating two mission houses. Following a sod-cutting ceremony in April 2024, construction commenced in May 2024 under strict supervision.

The Peace Town Mission House project began after the creation of the Peace Town District during the 48th Council Meeting in May 2025, with construction starting promptly to house the new District Minister.

The ceremony was attended by ministers and their wives, traditional leaders, opinion leaders, and members from both Districts. Profound gratitude was expressed to Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho and Mrs Lucy Dede Edzorhoho, as well as all committees, officers, artisans, and members whose collective efforts continue to drive the project forward.

Apostle David Nii Addo-Pappoe Dedicates Three New CBCBs In The Tepa Area

Apostle David Nii Addo-Pappoe, The Tepa Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, has dedicated three newly completed Community-Based Church Buildings (CBCBs) to the Mpasaso and Wioso Districts, marking a significant milestone in the Church’s mission to strengthen local assemblies and expand its presence within communities.

The dedication ceremonies were held on Tuesday, December 30, and Wednesday, December 31, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. each day. The facilities dedicated were the Mpasaso No. 2 Assembly, Meyeden Assembly, and Nyamebekyere Assembly, all located within the Mpasaso and Wioso Districts of the Tepa Area.

These projects form part of the Area Head’s ministerial oversight responsibilities. Some months ago, the Church released funds for the construction of the CBCBs in line with its infrastructure development policy. By the grace of God and through the commitment of the local leadership and members, the projects were fully completed within the stipulated period, paving the way for their dedication to the Lord.

Ministers serving in the Wioso Zone were present to support the ceremonies, reflecting the unity and shared vision among the clergy in the Area. Traditional leadership also played a notable role, as the Queen Mother and Odikro of Mpasaso No. 2 and Nyamebekyere respectively honoured the occasions with their presence, underscoring the cordial relationship between the Church and the host communities.

During the dedication services, the District presbyteries of the Mpasaso and Wioso Districts expressed profound gratitude to the leadership of The Church of Pentecost for providing the financial resources to construct the church buildings. They acknowledged that the CBCBs stand as monuments to the glory of God and tangible evidence of the Church’s commitment to providing decent places of worship for its members. Special appreciation was also extended to the Area Head for the confidence reposed in the Districts and the opportunity given to them to manage and execute the projects successfully.

The dedication of the CBCBs has already begun yielding spiritual dividends, bringing renewed strength and revival to the local Assemblies. Members testified that the presence of permanent church edifices has enhanced the visibility of the Church and further anchored its ministry within the communities where the buildings are situated.

The events concluded with thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness, as the Church continues to advance its mandate of building both people and places to the glory of His name.

52-Year-Old Traditional Priestess Finds Freedom In Christ

Dafliso Dzogbebabe, a 52-year-old traditional priestess from Akato in the Wudoaba District of The Church of Pentecost, Aflao Area, has renounced her former practices and handed over her three gods to be burnt. The event, which took place on Friday, January 9, 2026, marked a powerful turning point in her life.

Sister Dafliso gave her life to Christ after a house-to-house outreach by the District’s Evangelism Team during November’s Aggressive Evangelism, where Deaconess Gloria Kewu shared the message of Christ with her. The District counseling team counseled her to fully demonstrate her faith in Christ, by handing over her gods – Dzogbe, Maama, and Tokpo – to be destroyed.

She revealed she’d served these gods for 22 years, but the last eight had been filled with misery, leading her to seek true freedom in Christ. Pastor Albert Adotey Mensah, Wudoaba District Minister, baptised her, and she changed her name to Veronica Tovia, reflecting her new faith in Christ.

TOSM Reaches Muslim Community With Gospel, Fellowship In Tarkwa

As part of the Church of Pentecost’s “Possessing the Nations” agenda, The Other Sheep Ministry of the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Tarkwa, organised a combined lunch and gospel outreach for members of the Muslim community in Tarkwa on January 1, 2026. The event, which formed part of the Christmas festivities, was aimed at demonstrating Christ’s love in practical terms while proclaiming the message of His birth and salvation.

Held under the theme, “Bring Them Also” (John 10:16), the outreach took place simultaneously at two locations: the Naboso Central Mosque area near the Tarkwa Market Circle and the Muslim community close to the Apinto Government Hospital. An estimated 500 Muslim brothers and sisters participated in the programme, which fostered a spirit of warmth, mutual respect, and community fellowship.

Participants were treated to a hearty meal of jollof rice with chicken, complemented by bottled water and assorted soft drinks. The lunch was generously sponsored by Sister Eva Coffie and Deaconess Esther Agbesi, whose support contributed significantly to the success of the event and reinforced the Church’s commitment to compassionate outreach.

Delivering the gospel message was the Tarkwa Area Coordinator of TOSM, Pastor Ebenezer Awuku Quaye, who also serves as Secretary for the Western and Western North Regional Coordinating Committee. He ministered in Hausa, a language familiar to most of the attendees, ensuring clarity and cultural connection. His message focused on the incarnation and redemptive mission of Jesus Christ, drawing from the teachings of the Gospel of John and highlighting God’s desire to gather all people into one fold.

The message made a notable impact, leading fifteen individuals to publicly accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. These converts have since been enrolled into a structured follow-up programme to support their spiritual growth and integration.

Expressing appreciation for the warm reception, Pastor Awuku Quaye reaffirmed the ministry’s long-term vision. “Our objective is to establish a TOSM Assembly in Tarkwa as soon as possible, by the grace of God,” he stated.

The outreach reflects the Church’s dedication to evangelism carried out with cultural sensitivity, practical love, and a commitment to nurturing lasting faith within diverse communities.
