Apostle Gideon Obeng-Darko Debrah, the Atonsu Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, launched his first book titled “The Blessings of God” on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

The event was held at the Simon Kwaku Awere Memorial Temple in Atonsu and drew distinguished personalities, including prominent men of God, business leaders, elders, and members of the Church.

Apostle Debrah explained that the book explores the origins of blessings and delves into the scriptures to elaborate on the concept of leading a blessed life.

In “The Blessings of God,” Apostle Debrah delineated the different forms of blessings, emphasising that while they come with challenges, one should persevere in prayer and trust in God to actualize the fullness of these blessings.

While acknowledging that blessings are often equated with material wealth, the author stressed that the spiritual foundation of blessings is paramount and should be prioritized above all else.

Apostle G.O.D Debrah expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support at the book launch and hinted that this was just the beginning of his literary journey.

Prophet James Osei Amaniampong (Rtd), the special guest of honor, advised clergy members to cultivate a culture of writing books to safeguard their congregants from false teachings. He underscored the significance of clergy-authored works as valuable resources filled with biblical wisdom, guiding believers and combatting doctrinal inaccuracies.

“The Blessings of God” is now available at The Church of Pentecost’s bookshops nationwide, offering believers an opportunity to deepen their understanding of God’s blessings.
