The Suhum Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost on December 20, 2019, donated bedsheets and other assorted items to the Suhum Government Hospital.
The delegation was heartily received on arrival by the Deputy Health Service Administrator, Mrs. Ellen Dwubeng, who also received the items on behalf of the hospital.
Mrs. Ellen Dwubeng on behalf of the hospital management expressed her profound gratitude to the church for the benevolence. She was hopeful that the items would help in health care delivery at the facility.
In an interview with Mrs. Jennifer Ekuban, wife of the Suhum Area Head, who presented the items on behalf of the Women’s Ministry, she said that the move was part of the church’s Vision 2023 agenda of possessing the nations which enjoins members of the church to be agents of transformation. “Since Christians are agents of transformation, there is the need for us to bring positive change in our locality by caring for one another,” she stressed.
Mrs. Ekuban further reiterated that the Women’s Ministry of the church will continue to provide assistance to other health care facilities within the Area.
Present at the presentation service was Deaconess Lena Brefo Nimo, Suhum Area Women’s Ministry Leader and the other executives.
