Adientem District Women’s Ministry Donates To Orphanage

The Adientem District Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost in Takoradi Area has donated assorted items worth over GHC 5,000.00 to the Egyam Children’s Home as part of the transformation agenda by the Church.

A delegation of the Women’s Ministry led by the wife of the District Minister, Mrs. Mercy Adams, and the District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Janet Essel, visited the orphanage on Sunday, October 6, 2019, and spent time interacting with the inmates after presenting food items and provisions including rice, cooking oil, toiletries, drinks, biscuits, and water, among others to the facility.

“As part of our social responsibility, we have come here to acknowledge and express our gratitude to your orphanage for the good work you are doing for needy children in our community,” said Mrs Mercy Adams.

The District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Janet Essel, on her part, reiterated the ministry’s commitment to supporting the needy in society in giving back to society. This, she said, is one sure way of strengthening the communities in an effort to possessing the nations for Christ.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Home, Sister Mary Gladys Boakye expressed their gratitude to the Church as she recounted how the church’s modest effort to supporting the inmates has been a great blessing to Home.
