An Executive Council Member of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Peter Kofi Dzemekey, has called on engineers and artisans to recognise that their professions reflect the nature of God, and therefore they must employ their skills and talents to glorify Him.

According to Apostle Dzemekey, The Church of Pentecost has consistently upheld the belief that the work of engineers, artisans, and indeed all professionals, is a sacred calling to transform their respective spheres of influence.

Apostle Dzemekey, who also serves as the Asokwa Area Head and Coordinator of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Committee (RCC) of the Church, made these remarks during the 2026 Built Environment, Engineers and Artisans Conference held at the Asokwa McKeown Worship Centre in Kumasi on Friday, June 19, 2026.

He noted that the hands of skilled engineers, like those of craftsmen, reflect the Creator Himself. He therefore encouraged workers to use their God-given gifts to serve the House of God while also contributing positively to the wider community.

He further stated that the work of artisans demonstrates that faith and excellence go hand in hand.

Apostle Dzemekey explained that one’s expertise is a valuable treasure, adding that the roads, systems and structures engineered through such expertise shape human life and society.

He also described participants as the vital bridge between vision and reality, emphasising that their willingness to learn and build, not only with materials but also with faith, is an indication that their work has the power to shape and influence lives.
