The Women’s Ministry of the 3 Garrison Worship Centre, Sunyani Area of The Church of Pentecost, on Monday, August 25, 2025, donated items worth GHS 8,000 to the 3 Medical Reception Station (3 MRS) at Liberation Barracks, Sunyani.
The 3 Medical Reception Station (3 MRS) is the primary healthcare facility within Liberation Barracks, Sunyani, responsible for providing medical care to military personnel, their families, and in some cases, civilians from surrounding communities. It serves as the first point of call for medical attention in the barracks, offering primary healthcare, emergency services, and referrals to larger military hospitals when necessary.
The church delegation, who visited the facility, was led by the Resident Minister, Pastor Capt. Samuel Korsah Abakah, together with the leadership of the District Women’s Ministry.
Items donated included medical equipment, toiletries, plastic chairs, and church-branded bedsheets.
Receiving the items on behalf of the facility, Squadron Leader Dr. Nii Okpoti Konney, Senior Medical Officer of 3 MRS, expressed profound gratitude to the Church and appealed to them to consider adopting the Children’s Ward for future support.
Also present were Mrs. Gabriella Abakah (wife of the Resident Minister), Deaconess Agnes Ntiamoah (District Women’s Ministry Leader) and her team, alongside other church leaders and members.
