The wife of the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Mrs Mary Nyamekye, has encouraged Christians, especially ministers’ wives, to release themselves from the worries of life and focus wholeheartedly on serving God.
Speaking at the climax of the Ministers’ Wives Conference held at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) in Gomoa Fetteh on Friday, June 13, 2025, Mrs Nyamekye reminded attendees of the miraculous power of Jesus, citing the resurrection of Lazarus as a testament to His ability to turn even the most hopeless situations around.
‘If Jesus could raise Lazarus, who had been dead and buried, then no situation in your life is beyond His power,’ she said. ‘Whatever challenges you are facing, trust in Jesus—the Rock of Ages. He is able to transform your circumstances.’
She underscored the importance of spiritual purity and remaining connected to God, urging believers to cleanse themselves of unrighteousness so they can experience God’s strength in their lives.
In a powerful prophetic declaration, Mrs Nyamekye prayed for divine healing, breakthroughs, and supernatural intervention for all participants.
The conference brought together over 3,000 attendees, mainly ministers’ wives from across the nation, as well as the spouses of retired ministers and widows of late ministers.
