The Agona Swedru Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Agyei-Nimako Darkwa, has underscored the immeasurable power that Christians possess through the Holy Spirit, urging believers to walk in faith and boldness.
Speaking during the morning session of Day 3 of the ‘Twifo 4 Christ’ crusade at the Twifo Hemang Central assembly, Pastor Darkwa quoted Ephesians 1:19 and stated the supernatural power that comes with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
‘The power carried by a Christian with the Holy Spirit is incomparably great,’ he declared, adding that the presence of the Holy Spirit removes fear and empowers believers to excel.
Citing Jesus as the ultimate example, the former National Secretary of the Evangelism Ministry pointed out that Christ was conceived and born with the Holy Spirit, which enabled Him to rise above His generation.
‘God did not call us to disgrace us,’ he affirmed, encouraging believers to trust in God’s purpose for their lives.
He highlighted God’s unmerited favour towards humanity. ‘God gives us what we do not deserve out of His abundant love,’ he said.
He further explained the irony of God’s mercy, saying, ‘We deserve death because of our sins, but by His mercies, we are saved.’
The ‘Twifo 4 Christ’ crusade, ongoing at the Twifo Hemang Arts and Cultural Centre, continues to impact lives with powerful messages of salvation and empowerment.
