Thirteen employees of The Church of Pentecost have officially retired from active service, culminating years of remarkable dedication and hard work.
The retirees were honoured during a special retirement service held in their honour during the climax of this year’s Management & Staff Retreat held at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh on Friday, December 13, 2024.
The event, which celebrated their years of commitment and service, was chaired by the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye.
In his address, Apostle Nyamekye lauded the retirees for their invaluable contributions to the church, commending them for their faithfulness, professionalism, and impactful service.
The retirees, whose collective service spans several decades, include:
- Mr Prince Yaw Adu Boateng (6 years)
- Ms Felicia Owusua Asamoah (20 years)
- Mr Samuel Anthony K. Mensah (24 years)
- Ms Philomina Grace Essien (24 years)
- Mr Wisdom Agbedor (25 years)
- Mr Frederick Agyei Offei (27 years)
- Mr Emmanuel Ansah Sekoh (29 years)
- Mr Franklin Tetteh Sarbah (30 years)
- Mr Ernest Winiford Kernic Bandoh (30 years)
- Mr John Kingsley Nyameh (32 years)
- Ms Rianon Adwoa Asorwoe (34 years)
- Ms Margaret Yaa Acheampong (35 years)
- Mr Peter Adjei Nimako (37 years)
In his remarks, Apostle Nyamekye highlighted the indispensable roles the retirees played in advancing the mission of the church and thanked them for being reliable stewards. He further encouraged the workers to emulate the retirees’ spirit of diligence and service.
The retirees, in response, expressed their gratitude to God and the leadership of The Church of Pentecost for the opportunity to serve, pledging their continued support to the church in their new phase of life.
