On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the London Hill Assembly Church building was dedicated to the glory of God by Apostle Samuel Osei Asante, the Kaneshie Area Head and Executive Council Member of The Church of Pentecost.
Apostle Osei Asante was supported by Pastor Adu Gyamfi Donkor Jr., the Israel District Minister, along with several ministers from the Kaneshie Area, including Apostle Prof. Joseph Ignatius Teye Buertey, Pastor Musa Yahaya, Pastor Fred Stephen Sarfo, Pastor Samuel Brefo, and Pastor Lawyer Daniel Essuman Koomson.
Also present were Apostle Emmanuel Kwesi Appiah, the Evangelism Director of The Church of Pentecost, and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Osei Asante, the wife of the Kaneshie Area Head, along with ministers’ wives and officers from the Israel District.
During the event, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante, who also coordinates the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Committee (GARCC), delivered an exhortation on the topic, “The Purpose of Our Calling to be Holy.”
He referenced Leviticus 11:44-45, 1 Thessalonians 4:7, and Ephesians 4:1, urging believers to pursue holiness. He emphasised that God is holy, His worship space is holy, and He expects His holy people to be in His presence. He stated that it is through holiness that believers will receive blessings from God and ultimately attain heaven.
Apostle Osei Asante further highlighted that holiness is reflected in one’s lifestyle, and believers should consciously strive to live a holy life, noting that signs of holiness can be observed in traits such as humility, love, and the way one speaks.
The London Hill Assembly church building project was funded by grants from the Church’s Headquarters, support from the Kaneshie Area, and the District, as well as the local offerings.
