A young man named Kwasi surrendered his charms for burning after accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour.

This significant event occurred when a group of youth from the Tema Greenwich Meridian District English Assembly of The Church of Pentecost evangelised to him during the November Aggressive Evangelism.

Kwasi explained that he used the charms for protection and to attract girls. He claimed it allowed him to cause trouble without facing consequences. He recounted being attacked three times with machetes but stated that he was unharmed due to the charms, which he believed prevented cuts on his skin.

Moved by the Word of God, Kwasi realised that the charm provided only temporary protection. With this understanding, he chose to give his life to Christ. After surrendering his charm for burning, he was baptised in water.

Pastor Dr. Suleman De-Graft Issaka, who supervised both the burning of the charms and the water baptism, encouraged Kwasi to remain steadfast in his faith. He emphasised that Christ offers a stronger form of protection than any charm or power.

He also praised Elder Emmanuel Arko Baffoe, the Presiding Elder, Elder Koomson, the Local Evangelism Ministry Leader, and the entire team for their commendable efforts.
