The New Tafo Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Prophet Samuel Tetteh Doku, has called on Christians to have the zeal for the Lord’s work and spread the Gospel to rescue the perishing.
Prophet Tetteh Doku made the call on Sunday, January 28, 2024, when he fellowshipped with members of the Grace Assembly in the Yennyawoso District of the Church to observe the Gospel Sunday.
Exhorting the elated congregants, the Area Head underscored the need for believers to set their priorities on advancing the Kingdom business.
He, therefore, advised Christians to become all things to all manner of persons and not to despise anybody in their quest to populate the Kingdom of God, charging members of the Church to at least win a soul each within the year for Christ Jesus.
Reading from Luke 9:62 and sharing his personal testimonies, Prophet Samuel Tetteh Doku, further charged Christians to diligently apply themselves to the work of God and purpose in their heart to serve the Lord no matter what happens.
“Don’t hide your identity as a Christian. Let your light shine so that people will see your good works,” he advised, whilst urging the congregants to endeavour to transform their world.
He particularly advised the youth to get on board and involve themselves immensely in the work of God and commit to working tirelessly to ensure the growth of God’s Kingdom.
He also shared some titbits of the recently-held Global Ministers and Wives’ Conference of The Church of Pentecost (CoP) with the congregants, especially in the area of CoP distinctiveness.
After the sermon, he led the congregants into the period of prayer.
