In the aftermath of the Akosombo Dam spillage that left thousands homeless, the Ho Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost demonstrated compassion and solidarity by donating essential items to the flood victims in the Sogakope Area.

Led by Deaconess Fidelia Ametefe, the Area Leader, and accompanied by Executive Committee members, Deaconess Margaret Agbenyegah and Deaconess Veronica Gehe, the Women’s Ministry undertook the benevolent mission on December 8, 2023.

The donation was warmly received by Pastor Godwin Adzahli, the Sogakope Area Head, in a brief but heartfelt ceremony.

Pastor Adzahli expressed sincere appreciation to the Ho Area Head, Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah, his wife, Mrs. Comfort Quampah, the Ho Area Women Ministry, and the entire Ho Area for their generous donation.

He emphasised the significant impact the items would have on the lives of those affected by the spillage.

The donated items, ranging from essential food supplies to basic household necessities, will be distributed to pastors and individuals directly impacted by the recent flooding.

Pastor Adzahli assured the donors and the broader community that their arms remain open to receiving additional support as the affected individuals work towards rebuilding their lives.
