Apostle Peter Kofi Dzemekey, the Asokwa Area Head of The Church Of Pentecost, has emphatically proclaimed that exclusive authority rests with Jesus Christ to bring life to even the most lifeless situations.

“The Word of God possesses the profound ability to disentangle you from the clutches of death and its snares. It possesses the power to shatter every chain!” declared Apostle Dzemekey.

These powerful assertions were made during the evening session of Day 3 at the ‘Greater Kumasi For Christ’ Crusade, currently ongoing at the Heroes Park, located at the forecourt of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Drawing from the scripture in John 11:27-43, Apostle Dzemekey expounded that when Jesus addressed the lifeless body of Lazarus, his words held the power to evoke life, leading to Lazarus’s miraculous resurrection.

Highlighting the story of Martha and Lazarus, Apostle Dzemekey illuminated how Martha perceived Jesus’ arrival as belated. However, he clarified that this apparent delay was orchestrated for the optimal moment of Lazarus’s salvation.

“God sometimes deliberately postpones our circumstances to ensure that we emerge with the maximum impact,” he stated.

Continuing, he stressed Martha’s inability to comprehend Jesus’ actions. Yet, Jesus assured her of Lazarus’s restoration.

“Jesus’ command for the stone to be rolled away was founded on His exclusive authority over that stone. Neither spirit nor human can roll away the stones binding our lives. Only one Man is endowed with the accreditation to liberate you,” Apostle Dzemekey affirmed.

As he concluded, Apostle Dzemekey emphasised the enduring significance of the name of Jesus.

“Though countless great names have faded into history, the name of Jesus remains eternal. Jesus is unceasing, unretired, and immutable—unchanged yesterday, today, and forever,” he said.
