Twenty-three individuals gave their lives to Christ today during an evangelism outreach organised by the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost at the Odweanoma mountain paragliding field at Nkawkaw-Atibie in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
These new converts were among the festival-goers who had journeyed from across the country and beyond to celebrate Easter festivities in the mountainous townships of the Kwahu Traditional Area.
The annual Kwahu Easter festival features a diverse range of activities, including the renowned paragliding from the summit of Odweanoma mountain at Atibie to the plains of Nkawkaw, colorful durbars of traditional leaders, musical concerts, street carnivals, and various parties.
These events, whhich span a four-day period, attract a vast number of tourists to the area, and for this reason, the ministry dispatched a team of 50 members, led by Elder Dr. Ken Aboah (Esq), to the Kwahu State to spread the gospel message and share with festival-goers the true meaning of Easter.
Among the activities arranged by the ministry during the period are street evangelism, medical outreach, placard evangelism, and distribution of gospel tracts.
