A 30-Day Witnessing campaign undertaken by the Nazareth and English Assemblies of the Manhean District of The Church of Pentecost in the Anyaa-Ablekuma Area has yielded 28 souls for Christ.
The month-long evangelistic initiative, which commenced on August 3, 2026, and ended on September 1, 2026, employed a variety of witnessing strategies to reach people from different backgrounds across the Manhean community.
The strategies included house-to-house evangelism, ghetto evangelism, placard evangelism, one-on-one witnessing, market evangelism, information centre evangelism and cinema evangelism.
The campaign climaxed with a street rally at Tsui Bleoo, a suburb of Manhean, under the theme, “Jesus Christ, the Light of the World,” based on John 8:12.
Preaching at the rally, Elder Paul Eshun of the English Assembly explained that the darkness of sin had engulfed the world, stressing that Jesus Christ remains the only true Light who can deliver humanity from sin and give eternal life.
Referencing John 1:4, which states, “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind” (NIV), he urged those who had not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour to do so in order to receive eternal life.
One of the notable testimonies from the campaign involved a 25-year-old man at Mama Mary Cold Store, a suburb of Manhean, who was involved in idol worship but decided to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour following the outreach.
In all, 28 people were won for Christ through the 30-day witnessing activities, as the assemblies sought to take the message of salvation beyond the walls of the church and into the wider community.
The campaign ended with the exaltation of Jesus Christ and a renewed commitment to witnessing within the Manhean community.
