The Ellobankata District Minister in Takoradi Area of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Ransford Kwaku Baah, and his wife Vivian have donated their personal Kia Spectra vehicle with registration number AW 5446-13 to the district. He has also promised to service the vehicle for the district for a year.
Pastor Baah presented the keys and documents of the vehicle to the Ellobankata District Secretary, Elder Gideon Yankey, at a brief ceremony at the Central church after a District Presbytery meeting held on May 29, 2021.
In an interview with PENTECOST NEWS, Pastor Baah said: “God laid it on our hearts to buy this vehicle for work of ministry in Ellobankata when we were trekking on foot and sometimes on the motorbike.
“After serving in the district for six (6) years, we believe that this car will be very useful to the new district minister who will be taking over from us. From the depth of our hearts, we donate this car to Ellobankata District,” he affirmed.
The District Transport Committee Chairman, Elder Anthony Agyemang, who was overwhelmed by the gesture, said it has brought great relief to the district since the district has no official vehicle.
The District Secretary expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for the life of Pastor and Mrs. Baah and asked His favour and blessings upon their lives.
“Our Pastor and his wife have really surprised us. At their welcome service on August 23, 2015, they donated three motorbikes to the district to help presiding elders who commute from far distances to oversee local assemblies, and today they have donated their personal car to us,” he revealed.
Pastor Ransford Kwaku & Vivian Baah are due for transfer to the Aburi District in Koforidua Area.
