The Sakumono District in the Teshie-Nungua Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated two tricycles, popularly called ‘Aboboyaa’ to the Amoma and Anyima districts in the Kintampo Area.
Presenting the tricycles on behalf of the Sakumono District on June 4, 2020, at the Kintampo Area office, the Kintampo Area Head, Apostle Gideon Obeng-Darko Debrah, said that the Sakumono District Minister, Pastor Emmanuel Dominic Annor, was touched after watching the 2020 Missions Week documentary when some districts requested for tricycles to reach out to the unreached with the gospel.
Apostle Debrah advised the beneficiary districts to keep the tricycles in good condition and use them to enhance the Kingdom business. He cautioned them to avoid using them to run commercial businesses.
Pastors Emmanuel Bosomah and Cephas Boatey, district ministers of Anyima and Amoma respectively, who received the tricycles on behalf of their districts, expressed their profound joy and appreciation to the Sakumono District for the kind gesture and admitted that the donation was very timely since they had desired to get one but were unable to do so due to financial constraints.
They assured the Area Head that the tricycles would be used exactly for the intended purpose.
The Area launched a project dubbed ‘One District One Tricycle’ in August 2018 to facilitate its evangelistic effort. So far, ten tricycles have been received, with five more to go.
In attendance at the presentation ceremony were Pastors Anthony Godwin Adzigbli, Clement Ampako and Fredrick Doh Bodzra as well as some Area Executive Committee Members.
