The second edition of the National All Leavers Summit has made a remarkable impact on thousands of Junior High and Senior High School graduates across Ghana. The nationwide event, held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, was jointly organised by the Pent Media Centre, Scripture Union, and the Schools Outreach Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, with more than 130 centres participating simultaneously.
The Kaneshie Worship Centre auditorium of The Church of Pentecost served as the main hub of the summit, which was held under the theme: “Focusing, Guiding and Nurturing the Next Generation Today.”
At Kaneshie, Mr Emmanuel Kofi Techi, Ayawaso North Municipal Director of Education, urged students to pursue excellence with discipline and integrity. Rev. Prof. Ivy Drafor-Amenyah encouraged participants to remain rooted in Christ and seek God’s guidance in decision-making, while Dr Joshua Oppong Sarfo motivated them to cultivate vision and resilience. The Director of the Pent Media Centre, Pastor Dr Felix Dela Klutse, reminded attendees to be “heavenly focused and earthly relevant.”
The summit also featured career guidance breakout sessions in Health Sciences, Business, Technical and Vocational Skills, and Education. Dr Josephine Nhyira Benyi emphasised time management as a key to success, while music ministrations by Emmanuel Tetteh Judah and Elder Shadrach Yeboah uplifted the gathering.
The Kaneshie Central venue alone recorded over 2,018 students, mobilised from Kaneshie, Anyaa-Ablekuma, Achimota, Odorkor, Dansoman, and La. The event was graced by the Kaneshie Area Head of the church, Apostle Daniel Dekpor, and facilitated by seasoned speakers, including Dr Henry Hackman, Dr Akli Nartey, and Pastor Frank Mensah Tandoh, National Coordinator of the Schools Outreach Ministry, together with his wife, Dr Salome Mensah Tandoh.
A powerful altar call led by Elder Rockson Antwi saw approximately 330 students surrendering their lives to Christ, with many others rededicating themselves.
Across the country, the summit offered a unique blend of spiritual, moral, and career guidance, equipping young people for life beyond school.
