The Women Ministry Director of The Church of Pentecost, Deaconess Mrs. Philomina Mireku, has embarked on a three-day working visit to the Agormanya Area.

During her visit, which took place from Wednesday, 11th to Friday 13th September 2024, Deaconess Philomina Mireku met with the ministry leaders at the various levels of the church.

Addressing over 600 participants including the area pastorate and wives, and other ministry leaders, among others, on Thursday 12th September 2024 at the Somanya Central Assembly, the Women’s Director encouraged them to uphold unity, love and cooperation in the discharge of their duties to bring progress and development in the church.

In her presentation on the topic: “Working together as Christians Leaders to Transform our World” based on Genesis 11:6, and Ecclesiastes 4:9-14 among other scriptures, Mrs. Philomina Mireku observed that, as leaders, women’s ministry leaders work together with ministers’ wives to promote growth.

Consequently, she encouraged women leaders to exhibit reverence and honour among themselves and particularly to their ministers’ wives as ministry partners irrespective of their ages.

In the same vein, Deaconess Mireku admonished ministry leaders to see other executive members as helpers and never to lord it over them.

According to the Director, this will result in peace, unity, good results, and divine blessings.

She also encouraged the ministry leaders to be generous and share with others what God blesses them with, emphasising that nothing is too small to give.

She entreated the gathering to embody Charismatic Leadership, provide inspiration and be role models.

“Like Deborah, who judged her generation, women leadership ought to be vigilant and provide direction to steer the growth of the church,” the Director advised.

She ended her message by emphasising the need for ministry leaders to visit the members, particularly the Children’s Ministry to fellowship with the children, who are the foundation and future of the church.

Present at the meeting were Deaconess Mrs. Vivian Ofosua Amfo, and Deaconess Prof. Gladys Quartey (National Executive Committee Member, Women Ministry). Also in attendance were Mrs. Grace Gakpetor (Wife of the Agormanya Area Head), and members of the Agormanya Area Women Ministry Executive Committee.
