The Wa Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and other items valued at GH¢ 6,000 to the Wa Regional Hospital in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
The items were presented to the health officials by the Wa Area Head, Apostle Daniel Nii Tetteh Tackie, on behalf of the Area at a short presentation ceremony held at the hospital premises on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
The gesture is in line with the church’s efforts in assisting the government in the fight against the novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the region.
The Wa Area delegation, which included a cross-section of the Area Pastorate, seized the opportunity to visit some COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at the facility to encourage and pray with them.
