The Women’s Ministries of the Twifo Praso and Anogyan districts of The Church of Pentecost have donated assorted items to the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital in the Central Region.
Presenting the items to the hospital, the Twifo Praso Area Women’s Ministry Leader of the church, Deaconess Abigail Kwei Larbi, explained that women of the two districts embarked on the gesture to commensurate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and to showcase the love of God to the people.
She added that it was also an opportunity for the church to share the gospel with others, especially those at the hospital. Items donated included mineral water, soft drinks, and toiletries.
To assist the Area Women’s Leader to present the items were Deaconess Emelia Acheampong and Deaconess Abigail Appiah, Women’s Ministry Leaders for Twifo Praso and Anogyan districts, respectively.
Receiving the items, the Officer-In-Charge of the hospital expressed his immense gratitude to the Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost for their donations and promised to make good use of the items.
He also appealed to other philanthropists to come to the aid of the hospital. Present were the members of the ministry and their executives from both districts.
