The International Missions Director (IMD) of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe, has revealed that effective ministry should always be characterised by the public display of God.
He made this revelation on Sunday, September 1, 2024, during the Induction and Farewell Service of newly appointed and reviewed directors and co-ordinators of various ministries and committees of The Church of Pentecost.
Speaking on the theme, ‘The Ministry of the Pillar of Cloud and Fire,’ he explained that the pillar of fire and cloud was a manifestation of God that led the Israelites in the wilderness. According to him, this signifies that ministry is always manifesting God publicly.
The IMD indicated that just as the pillar of cloud and fire guided the Israelites during their move in the wilderness, ministry is supposed to provide direction and guidance, especially to all who have not witnessed Christ yet. Adding that, ‘Speed without direction is of no relevance’
Apostle Agyemang Bekoe also mentioned that in the manner that the pillar of cloud and fire gave the Israelites light, ministry is supposed to be light and must provide sight and vision which will drive away all forms of darkness for all to see God.
He also noted that ministry is day and night, explaining that there is no cease to the execution of the ministerial mandate.
The IM also added that there is no retreat and surrender in ministry because God has always got your back.
