The Aflao Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Michael Agyen Brefo, has stated that Jesus gives abundant life to those who come to Him.
He made this assertion on March 13, 2024, during the morning session of the ongoing “Aflao for Christ” crusade at the Shekinah Temple, Aflao.
Speaking on the topic: “In Him is life (John 1:1-5)”, Apostle Michael Agyen Brefo stated in his synopsis that the life Jesus gives to mankind is divine in nature. “This life,” he revealed, “brings completeness and fullness to those who possess it.”
Expounding on the biblical text, Apostle Agyen Brefo stated that, in the New Testament, the Greek word for life is ‘Zoe’.
“Zoe is the God’s kind of life he imparts onto those who receive him. This makes him the author of life (Acts 3:15). This means that life was created and manufactured by God. It is in Christ that the Christian lives and moves and has his or her being (Acts 17:28),” he stated.
He stressed that Jesus gives full life to everyone who seeks him. According to him, this life encompasses the physical and spiritual aspects of the Christian.
“This abundant life brings healing, freshness, inner joy, redemption, and deliverance to the oppressed,” he emphasised.
“In Him we have our redemption. Our marriages, businesses, children, health, future, prosperity, and life are in Him. As a result, the Christian’s life is untouchable,” Apostle Agyen Brefo narrated, adding, “We triumph in Him.”
Referencing Psalm 27:1-2, he explained that the Lord is the light and salvation of the believer. “If our salvation is in Jesus, then we will not be afraid,” he stated.
Because Jesus is the resurrection and life to all mankind, he prayed that anything dead in the life of the congregants would get back to life again.
There was a massive revival and countless testimonies shared by participants after his ministration.
