The Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Apostle Samuel Amponsah-Frimpong, has announced that the Church exists to make lasting impact.
Delivering the closing message at the non-denominational All Ministers Conference on Wednesday night at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) at Gomoa Fetteh near Kasoa, he assured the gathering of Christian leaders that crises will only strengthen the resolve of the Church to make impact.
Quoting Matthew 5:14-16, he said the good work of Christ served as foundation to believers in order for the church to continue with His mission. He thus urged the clergy to work at manifesting the Kingdom of God everywhere.
“In the Church, every aspect of the Kingdom of God must be manifested. If the world wants to see the Kingdom, they see it through the Church,” he revealed.
He insisted that the Church is the earthly dimension of the reign of God, and her existence is to superimpose the culture of Heaven on our realm.
He encouraged Christian leaders to resist inter and intra-church conflicts as the God the Church represents is a God of unity without ill.
“The God of our confession is not an author of confusion. Church rivalry, politicisation of the Church, love of money, excessive desire for pleasure and fame must not be part of church culture,” he cautioned.
Reading from Matthew 5:14-16, Apostle Asamoah-Frimpong said Jesus intended the Church He is building to be light to the world. He said being light means shedding the light of the love of Christ.
He explained that the Church is not an ordinary place but a gathering of God’s elect, and the world must see her in action, saying, “The Church of Christ exists to make the world a better place. God wants the Church to be seen. It is a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.”
He mentioned that Christ chose the right location; a hill to build the Church and on the foundation of the Rock as the right material to build the Church.
Apostle Amponsah-Frimpong advised that every denomination should prioritise Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit in order to make godly impact.
He encouraged the Church not to be afraid of the onslaught of anti-church activities because history has proved that theChurch becomes stronger when it comes under affliction. He used the opportunity to galvanise the Church to support the good work of The Church of Pentecost instead of being happy when it is attacked.
“When a good church like The Church of Pentecost is being attacked, we must not be happy but work together to protect it,” he admonished.
According to him, the Church’s impact will hold because the strength of the Church is drawn from her hold on the Truth.
Apostle Asamoah-Frimpong indicated that the Church needs to be bold to forsake sin and push the agenda of Christ because the world is in expectation of the Church.
“Sons of God understand the heartbeat of the Father and do not sin against Him. That is why creation is in anticipation for our manifestation,” he said, stressing, “Nothing can stop the Church; we will remain impactful if only we will be steadfast and tenacious.”
He concluded with a call on Christian leaders to seek the anointing that makes impact and not give up in the face of adversity.
He assured Christians that anything legal and appropriate that the Church shall set to do will have the backing of Heaven, because the Holy Spirit is still with the Church and has the keys of the Kingdom and the sprinkled blood.
“There is an innate anointing to prevail. We exist to bless the world around us through godly conduct. The Church is marching on. Let us takeover, let us possess the nations,” he charged.
