Tepa Area Women’s Ministry Donates To St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital

The Tepa Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, on May 30, 2025, donated assorted items valued at over GHS 15,000 to the St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital in Ahafo Hwidiem.

The items were presented on behalf of the Area Head, Apostle David Nii Addo-Pappoe, by his wife, Mrs Faustina Addo-Pappoe, alongside Deaconess Lillian Amanor, the Area Women’s Ministry leader.

The items donated included toiletries, tissues, liquid soap, bleach, buckets, cups, bowls, washing powder, branded bedsheets, blankets, Milo, milk, Dettol, Tom Brown cereal, toothpaste and toothbrushes, scrubbing brushes, soaps, and more, aimed at supporting the hospital’s daily operations.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, the Acting Medical Director, Dr Kofi Kofo Boakye, expressed profound gratitude for the gesture and urged other churches to emulate the gesture.

Addressing the hospital staff, Mrs Faustina Addo-Pappoe encouraged them to uphold professionalism and compassion in patient care, reminding them that their service is ultimately unto God. Quoting Colossians 3:23-24, she urged them to work diligently and wholeheartedly, serving with excellence for the betterment of society.

She further emphasised that the donation aligned with the church’s Vision 2028 agenda, Possessing the Nations – Phase Two, aimed at making a meaningful impact in communities.

Present at the event were Area Executive Committee members, including Pastor Emmanuel K. Mensah Adeti and his wife, Mrs Catherine Ama Adeti (District Minister, Hwidiem), as well as several pastors’ wives and district Women’s Ministry leaders.

Also present was Mrs Gladys Bediako, a Nurse Manager and a deaconess of The Church of Pentecost.
