The Tarkwa Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has undertaken a massive clean-up exercise at the premises of Pentecost Hospital, Tarkwa.

The exercise involved sweeping and cleaning of various wards, dusting, weeding and disposing of refuse, among others. It was to ensure that clients and staff of the hospital live and operate in a clean and conducive environment to promote good health.

The staff of the various departments of the facility participated fully in the clean-up exercise.

As part of the exercise which took place on Saturday, May 1, 2021, the Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Elizabeth Gyan, on behalf of the ministry donated items including paper towels, toilet rolls, sanitizers, powered soap and detergent to the hospital.

The items were received on behalf of Management by the Acting Head of Nursing and Midwifery Services, Mr. Emmanuel Ayi-Mantey. He expressed his profound gratitude to the Women’s Ministry for their gesture.
