Day Three of the Greater Accra Unleashed Crusade saw a spectacular atmosphere as a high-powered delegation from Ghana’s Parliament, led by Speaker Right Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, attended the event at Black Star Square, Accra.

Accompanying the Speaker were Members of Parliament (MPs), some Parliamentary Staff and the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Elizabeth Sackey. The MPs included Hon. Elder Ahmed Ibrahim (MP for Banda), Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP for Ningo Prampram), Hon. Zenetor Rawlings (MP for Korle Klottey), Hon. Isaac Ashai Odamtten (MP for Tema East), Hon. Elder Desmond De-Graft Paitoo (MP for Gomoa East), Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah (MP for Ho West), Hon. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah (La Dade-Kotopon), and Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni (MP for Okaikwe North).

Speaker Bagbin, welcomed by Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, to the grounds, congratulated the church for organising the massive crusade aimed at winning thousands of souls for Christ.

He expressed his support for the church’s ‘unleashing agenda’ by declaring, ‘Yes, I have been Unleashed.’ He also proclaimed that God has ‘unleashed’ the church to organise the crusade to reconcile all persons in Ghana and beyond with God.

Known for his Christian principles, Speaker Bagbin emphasised his belief in the power of prayer. He highlighted his initiative, ‘Ghana Prays,’ a dedicated prayer team that has been holding prayers across the country for the past two months.

He also praised The Church of Pentecost for organising the National Development Conference (NADEC) last year, describing it as marvelous and well-structured to tackle key national issues.

Speaker Bagbin lamented that leadership is one of Ghana’s biggest challenges and suggested that national leadership is an issue the country needs to address. He believes The Church of Pentecost, with its spiritual guidance, can lead the nation in this direction.
