SOM Coordinator Leads Staff Development Training At Ga East Education Directorate

The National Coordinator for the Schools Outreach Ministry (SOM) of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Frank Mensah Tandoh, participated in a capacity-building conference organised for frontline staff, comprising management, heads, and assistants of the Ga East Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service.

The event, held at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Atomic, brought together 140 educational leaders, supported by five keynote speakers and twelve additional resource persons. It was convened under the theme, “Resetting Attitudes of Staff Towards Work.”

In his address, Pastor Tandoh stressed the need for both personal and professional development, encouraging educational leaders to embrace renewed attitudes and adopt positive mindsets capable of driving sustainable transformation within the education sector.

His remarks inspired attendees to pursue excellence, uphold integrity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in their service to pupils and communities.

The conference represents another stride in The Church of Pentecost’s ongoing commitment to promoting excellence in education by equipping educational leaders with the mindset and tools required to lead with influence and integrity.

Among those present were Mr Eric Sey (Municipal Director, Ga East), Mr Charles Odom (Municipal Director of Education, Weija), Elder Professor Adu Amankwah (Educationalist), Deacon Dr Sampson-Obed Appiah (Senior Lecturer, University of Ghana, Legon), and a representative from the Ecobank Development Corporation.
