The Sirigu District in the Bolgatanga Area of The Church of Pentecost has organised has feted 65 widows in the district as part of the possessing the nations’ agenda of the church.
The second annual event which took place on January 3, 2020, at the Sirigu Central church building, was hosted by the District Minister, Overseer Francis Molbila.
As part of the programme, the church gave each of the widows a half piece of cloth.
In attendance were Overseer Amponsah Konadu of Mirigu District, officers and members of the Sirigu District and Mrs. Doris Molbila (wife of the Sirigu District Minister).
The district, as part of the implementation of the Vision 2023, has been organising monthly meetings for widows in the area, some of whom were declared witches by their families.
